I'm not really a big photography person. As an artformI like it, obviously, but I seldom spend the time appreciating it as perhaps I should. That said, I recently saw the Sony World Photography Awards shortlist, and was sooooo impressed by the entry produced by this fellow, Krzysztof Browko. A beautiful and otherworldy piece.
I checked his site and frankly there are more beautiful images per kilobyte here than I've seen anywhere that I can recall. I'd recommend you to take a look.
Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 12:49AM You know what I was thinking would be good... Wouldn't it be cool if someone, somewhere could take a url and turn it into music somehow? You know, find some way to output that web page AS music...?
No?
You don't think about that?
Me neither. But, hey, someone did, and surely this is one of those kind of surprises that makes the internet truly interesting. People take these disjointed ideas and make them into a reality. The world needs more of this.
Just type your url in and see how it sounds. :) Here's mine...
Didn't work in Chrome when I used it. I have to say though, if you click on the subject bar and go to this blog entry as a standalone page, it make a much cooler tune. :)
Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 12:14PM So, there used to be a series in the US called Mr Show. It was very hit or miss, but when it hit, it really hit and produced one of the cleverest sketches I've seen.
Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 2:40PM This is clever. They made a snake. Actually, it's really clever. Really really clever.
On that note. I just want to say a big "hi" to our future robot overlords. Remember, I was behind you guys from the beginning. Please don't blot out the sun with a big cloud, nor shave my head and plug me into some kind of 'matrix' as a weird, totally non-viable meat battery thing.
If you do decide to go down that route, can I suggest you try nuclear power instead? It's much easier. Failing that, try windmills.
